SHADES AND SCALES – 27” diameter, Stained Glass Copper Foil, 2019
The centerpiece of this Rose window and its colours were the inspiration for this piece. The unique piece is a blown glass orb with swirls of colour wrapping around itself. The complete design activates the movement of the colour, radiating out to the fish. Each fish represents a blending of the core. Green and Purple, Purple and Amber, Amber and Green. The tails of the fish mirror the two tones of each color. The focus of each fish is drawn to its origin.
