ALMANAC – 2022
My interpretation of the nature based lunar calendar from the “Witches Book of Days” with a different tree representing each of the 13 lunar cycles in a year: Birch, Rowan, Alder, Willow, Ash, Hawthorn, Oak, Holly, Hazel, Vine, Ivy, Reed and Elder. This window was modeled after the South Rose Window of the Lausanne Cathedral in Switzerland which has been referred to as a “Calendar in Glass and Stone”. Almanac is a tribute to balance in nature and more importantly a tribute to my daughter Rowan.
